AEC Electric Corp. is an electrical contracting firm that has established a solid reputation in the commercial sector over the last decade. Operating in the Chicagoland area, our emphasis has been to provide design and construction services to institutional properties, primarily educational and health care.

We take on the full range of projects, giving the same degree of care and attention to the small service jobs as to the very large design-build installations. We are accessible and we are responsive, and we are keeping up with technology driven demands such as telecommunications wiring, network cabling, power wiring and access control systems.

We are fully conversant with the AlA Contract Documents Program, and are able to produce all the standardized contract forms. Firm Background
AEC Electric Corp. is an electrical contracting firm that has been conducting business since 1988. The firm provides design and construction services primarily to commercial and industrial clients, the bulk of which is dedicated to institutional properties and commercial space build outs and renovations.

Experience
Edward Baba and Albert Baba founded the firm in 1988 after both had extended experience with other contracting companies over a span of 25 years. Both principals served a 4-year apprenticeship in Local 134 of the IBEW, which lead to field service as journeyman, foreman and general foreman electricians.

Edward Baba moved on into estimating, design and administration. He ultimately attained a position as Vice President of Apex Electrical Engineering Company from 1978 through 1988 prior to starting AEC Electric Corp. He is presently chief administrator of AEC. Albert Baba is both supervising electrician and field superintendent of the firm.

All electricians are fully trained, licensed, and union members.
